ABOUT CC4P
Prosperity for All
The Community Coalition for Prosperity (CC4P) is a cross-sector collaboration working to reduce generational poverty and increase economic mobility in Pima County. CC4P brings together nonprofits, government, funders, and community leaders around a shared, evidence-based strategy to align resources, coordinate action, and drive long-term systems change.
Rather than creating new programs, CC4P focuses on strengthening how the system works—ensuring that existing efforts are aligned, mutually reinforcing, and oriented toward shared outcomes for families and communities.

WHY WE EXIST
WHAT WE DO
For decades, Southern Arizona has been home to deeply committed organizations working to address housing instability, health disparities, educational gaps, and workforce challenges. Yet despite strong individual efforts, generational poverty persists.
One of the core challenges is fragmentation: programs operate in silos, funding streams are disconnected, and policy and practice are often misaligned. Families experiencing poverty must navigate complex systems that were never designed to work together.
CC4P exists to change that reality. By aligning organizations, policies, and investments around a common framework, CC4P helps move the community from isolated interventions to coordinated, systemic solutions that support long-term economic mobility.
CC4P is not a traditional nonprofit or a single-issue initiative. Its value lies in its ability to:
-
Align diverse actors around a shared policy framework
-
Move beyond informal collaboration to structured coordination
-
Bridge planning, pilot implementation, and policy change
-
Focus on long-term systems impact rather than short-term outputs
-
Leverage collective investment for greater community-wide returns
This systems-level approach allows CC4P to support change at a scale that no single organization could achieve alone.
OUR PILLARS
ALIGNMENT

Through our Prosperity Initiative-alignment process organizations discover their current and potential alignment with the Prosperity Initiative policies and strategies. Understanding their role in the system, they become better positioned to meet the needs of their clients, and move the needle on generational poverty in our community.
IMPLEMENTATION

Our Working Groups are led by strategic leaders, those who are well positioned to understand the diverse stakeholders, inherent challenges, and systems-changing opportunities.
Working Groups identify gaps in their sector's systems, and develop Strategic Action Projects to test scalable strategies for achievng the goals of the Prosperity Initiative.
ADVOCACY

We partner with the Parent Villages Committee, a collaboration of organizations actively equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge they need to advocate for their children and families.
We identify and support opportunities for community members to learn, advocate, connect, and lead, knowing
"those closest to the problem are closest to the solution".
